As much as we may say we want to sound like this person or that amp, to describe what were searching for, but we all really want our own tone that sets us apart. A pedal may sound great with a Fender or Music man amp, but not really work quite right with a smaller wattage marshall. One of the most noticeable differences in sound lie in the differences between different transistors and capacitors.
