Ok OK I know i talk all about germanium all the time and how great it is, so why did i go and build a silicon transistor pedal, well among other things, it runs on a negative ground so you can daisy chain it with other negative ground effetcs, but also the silicon transistors create diff. colors when you add the mods like voltage sag adn the feedback,

Voltage sag: can add a little boost or roll off voltage for more overdrive type sounds.

Feedback mod: returns your output signal back into the effect, creating instant feedback oscillation and other crazy sounds.

Kill Switch: Drains most of the power from the circuit, creating garbled garbage sounds.
